Management and Stewardship

The proposed Management Plans provide direction for the management, wise use and conservation of the land and forest resources under the Community Forest Agreements. The plans allow the community to participate in the operation of the community forest and set strategic direction to balance the forestry/tourism and needs of the community, residents and other stakeholders. The plans also set the Annual Allowable Cut for the agreement areas.
